U.S. Hispanics are no longer driving unauthorized immigration. The U.S. Hispanic immigration began shrinking with the last recession. The stability of the immigration has come due to the growth by other ethnicities driven primarily by Asian Americans and followed by African Americans. This evolution raises the question on how this bi-cultural generation is approaching the shopper journey, most specifically the role that Hispanic and other ethnic Independent Stores and goods are changing this path and decision making process.
